Swiss airline offers flights between Switzerland and southern European destinations. Flights to around seven airports.

Iceland Express
This Icelandic airline fly routes between Reykjavik and London Stansted, Copenhagen and Frankfurt Hahn airports. Flights to around four airports.

Iceland Express’ strategy is similar to those of other low-fare airlines. There are no length-of-stay restrictions, no Sunday rule, and it’s easy to book or change bookings online. They only offer e-tickets and all flights are essentially one-way. They have been growing steadily since 2003, and now connect the Icelandic capital of Reykjavík to airports throughout Europe. They also have seasonal direct flights between Copenhagen and Akureyri in Northern Iceland.

Jet2
British airline offering flights from England, Scottland and Northern Ireland to southern and central European destinations. Flights to around 42 airports.

Jet2.com has now flown over 8 million passengers. They commenced their low cost operations in February 2003, flying daily from Leeds Bradford International Airport, to and from Amsterdam. During 2003 scheduled flights were operated to 7 European business, city break and sun destinations, carrying more than 360,000 passengers in the first year. Now 21 Boeing 737-300 aircraft and 9 Boeing 757-200s (all of which are owned by the company), are located across their 6 UK bases and fly to 90 top sun, city and ski destinations in  more than 15 European countries and 8 Mediterranean islands as well as Egypt and the USA.

Nearly 40 routes alone are offered from their headquarters at Leeds Bradford Airport and in September 2007 Jet2.com announced the launch of 8 new routes from Leeds Bradford including Cyprus, La Rochelle, Madrid and Sardinia which was soon followed by the announcement of flights to New York in May 2008 and Sharm El Sheikh in June 2008.

Monarch
British low cost airline offering scheduled flights between the UK and southern Spain, the Canary Islands, Portugal and Cyprus. Flights to around 18 airports.

As well as being one of the UK's major providers of low-cost scheduled flights from bases at London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester and Birmingham airports, Monarch is a key supplier of airliners to the tour operating industry. Norwegian
Scandinavia's largest budget airline offering domestic flights in Norway and Sweden as well as international flights to most European countries. Flights to around 80 airports.

This airline is a public low-cost airline noted on the Oslo Stock Exchange. The company is the second largest airline in Scandinavia, and has a route portfolio that stretches across Europe into North Africa and the Middle East.  With competitive prices and customer friendly solutions and service, the company has experienced significant growth over the previous years. With more than 9.1 million passengers in 2008, Norwegian is the 4th largest low-cost airline in Europe. The turnover in 2008 was in excess of NOK 6.2 billion, an increase of 43% from the year before.
By year end 2008, Norwegian operated 40 aircraft on 170 routes to 87 destinations and employed approximately 1,500 people.

Ryanair
Ryanair offers cheap flights to most European countries with a route network based on hub airports across Europe. Ryanair offers tickets at some of the lowest prices in the airline industry and is at the same time one of the most successful of the European low cost airlines.

Ryanair is the “World's favourite airline” with 37 bases and 950+ low fare routes across 26 countries, connecting 150 destinations. Ryanair operates a fleet of 210 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft with firm orders for a further 102 new aircraft. Ryanair currently employs a team of more than 7,000 people and expects to carry approximately 66 million passengers in the current fiscal year.

Transavia.com
Dutch discount airline with flights from Amsterdam and Rotterdam to European destinations. Flights to around 66 airports.

The company has Amsterdam Airport Schiphol as its home base and transports approximately 4.5 million passengers a year to holiday destinations in Europe and Africa. The fleet consists solely of Boeing 737 aircraft of the Next Generation.
